Occupation: Mom and PT Co-Director at
Brainco - The Minneapolis School of Advertising, Design and Interactive Studies Website: www.facebook.com/profile. - php?id=728974700 Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 1 From Alyn: Hey! I missed the 10 year due to my mom's last name being different than mine. No one could find me until it had already happened. (I was on a backpacking trip in Montana). I have been in Minneapolis since leaving high school, save for a brief stop at St. Cloud State (where, needless to say, I had a hard time focusing on my studies.) I ended up going to the U of MN to finish my schooling. After a short stint working for the alt weekly City Pages and a trip to Europe, I landed at Fallon McElligott (Advertising agency). From then on I was hooked on agency life and advertising. (Mostly the life, the people and the "good" work - the stuff that doesn't ever get seen by the mainstream.) I enjoy educating and helping kids get into the business. During this time I met my husband Brock, an amazing Southern boy who LIKES living in Minnesota, while playing Ultimate frisbee for the first time in my life. I was hooked on both him and frisbee. We married in 2002 and had our son in 2005. My husband also works in advertising and is responsible for the Jack Link's Beef Jerky commercials featuring Sasquatch. (The hunter/fisher type might know these as they are the key demographic!) Currently I am lucky enough to stay at home full-time. My new part-time career takes place while my son Ames takes an afternoon nap. Who knows how long this will last! I don't run into too many Rapids alum, but visit GR often as my younger brother and folks are still there. I am really looking forward to the reunion, and I am warning you that I will be about 7 months pregnant (if you end up with me on your team at the golferoo - I cannot vouch for my abilities at that point!) |
