Occupation: winemaker
Website: www.pollakvineyards.com Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Jake: Remember the 'dances' people? Post football game foot stomping? I really enjoyed forcing everyoine to listen to my music choices... thanks for the tolerance. Life's road post school; '88-'90 earned a 2 year degree in Electronic Music Technology, '90-'96 was a blend of MPLS life, fiber optics, being in a band, embracing perspective, learning to live, and eventually landing in Richmond, Virginia. '96 married, had a son- now 10 years old, found grapes to be perfect work. I now grow grapes near Charlottesville, VA and make them into wine. Life is good. Winter is short. I play bass for fun and try to live well. Our oldest son is a musician (bass and trumpet)and video game addict when he isn't out in the vineyard with me. Our second son was born May 25th of this year. After ten years it's taking a while to get used to the no sleep thing. I will be unable to attend the reunion but have come in contact with many who I should never have lost contact through this website and am thankful to be here at least virtually. Raise a glass for me at the pub. |

Occupation: Bus Driver ISD #318
Marital Status: Single From Jon: Hey everyone! Thanks to those who put this website up-it has been interesting viewing it. I should be around for the reunion as I am living in the area now-driving bus, para-subbing and sports officiating. These are just parttime jobs to support my professional poker career (LOL). Actually I have been enjoying the Texas Hold 'Em leagues in my spare time and I still karaoke. I hope to see everybody at the reunion. It has been great to re-unite with those all living in the area. Take Care and God Bless, Bylkas |

Occupation: Health Care Sector
Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 3 From Christopher: After High School graduation, I spent the next 5 years aspiring to become a physician while attending the University of Minnesota. Realizing after the 3rd year that I didn’t want to be a physician (didn’t have what it takes to be a physician), I ultimately pursued and received a BS in Genetics. While this was interesting, it did very little to prepare me for a real job. After College I moved out West to a small town in Colorado where I held various jobs ranging from cook to ranch hand / cowboy, ski lift operator to emergency medical technician and part time college teacher. Ultimately, after doing a great deal of living and traveling / exploring the west, I realized home was where it was at, and headed back to the beautiful city of Minneapolis.
About a year after I returned, I met my wife, Richelle and we were married in late 2007. During the next few years, most of my career activities centered on chemical engineering, R&D work in Electronics manufacturing and Management consulting, while I completed an MBA evening program at the U of M. During these career iterations, we moved around the Twin Cities, doing a stint in Apple Valley, then in Litchfield, and eventually landing in Dayton (near Anoka) where we still reside.
The 3 most significant contributions I’ve made to society arrived at 2 year intervals starting 8 years ago. Our first was a boy (Riley), second was another boy (Joseph), and lastly, a little pink wonder of a daughter (Sophie Jean).
I’ve been at UnitedHealth Group for a little over 5 years now and thoroughly enjoy the complexities and challenges of the Health Care System.

Occupation: Insurance Sales
Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 3 From Mindy: I have enjoyed reading everyones bio's over the last few months. After graduation, I met Gary ('86). We have been married for 17 years this August. We have three boys; Aaron 15, Nathan 13, and Jacob 9. They all play hockey (of course) in Sauk Rapids. They have kept us extremely busy. But I wouldn't give it up for anything, I have enjoyed every minute. After graduation from Bemidji State, we moved to St. Cloud and ran Clafton Skate in St. Cloud for several years. When the kids schedule got to be so busy we decided we didn't want to keep up with the retail hours. Gary now works for the school district and coach's girls High School hockey (Sartell/Sauk Rapids). I started working in the banking industry and eventually ended up in insurance at Wells Fargo for 10 years. Two years ago I switched banks and am now with Bremer Insurance in St Cloud. When we are not in an arena, we enjoy going to Grand Rapids several times during the year. I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. |

Occupation: Product / Program Manager
Website: www.cannontech.com Marital Status: Divorced No. of Children: 1 From Jamie: Wow, twenty years, eh? Do you realize that when we were graduating high school the class of '68 was celebrating twenty years? So, we all got older, we all got wiser and the basic truths remain the same... 1) The police never think it's as funny or cute as you do. 2) Bad hair is still bad hair (although it felt cool at the time). 3) It WILL stay on your permanent record! Go figure. I've recently taken a new job my at work that doesn't require as much travel. When I knew the flight attendants by name, it was time for a change. So, here I am updating this thing already. I got married in '95 and divorced in '01. The experience left me with a beautiful daughter named Kate. I love the time I have with her (50%/50% custody). All you parents can attest to what the schedules are like between school, sports, and the other activities, but we get through it and enjoy the brief moments in between. In my spare time, I serve as a public utilities commissioner. My daughter has my sense of humor... I don't know if that's good or bad, but it keeps the boys on their toes. She thinks the old band pictures and videos are hilarious, but still likes to tell her friends that her Dad used to be a rocker. We even jam together on occassion. Right now it's a simple 12 bar progression, but someday.... This has been cool seeing all the profiles. I hope to catch up with you guys. That's the condensed version. If you want to know more, just ask! You can find me on facebook. See you all soon! Jamie |
