Occupation: RN
Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Traci: Hello everyone! I will add a photo when I have more time.....ha ha. Nice to see pictures and read the bios. Mike and I haven't had much time to stop and look at any of this yet so it's nice to see! Mo and I live in Wisconsin and have been here for 4 years. NO WE ARE NOT PACKER FANS.....EEEWWW. Mike works for Nalco Chemical and has for about 15 years and that has kept us moving (MN, Louisiana and WI) I am an RN and work for a dermatologist part time and spend the rest of my time running kids around. Britney is in track and tennis at the high school and Zach plays a ton of hockey! Mike has him hooked. He will be in 9th grade next year and will play on the high school team and is currently playing on a AAA team that Mike started last year. It's hard to teach Wisconsin people how to play hockey. No offense to anyone living here but.........it's just not the same as MN hockey. Mike plays in an adult league and I'm actually going to play this fall too. Should be interesting! Just finished up a tournament this past weekend for the 'ol boys from GR hockey. - Mike, Jon and Todd Rohloff, Grant Bischoff, Jeff Antonovich (we painted his Greenway helmet orange!), Gary DeGrio, Jeff Nielsen, and Jeff Wilson- so that was fun to get the boys together again and play. GO INDIANS! Can someone refresh my memory where "Thunderhawks" came from? I think we should be able to make it for the reunion. It would be great to see everyone! Hey Beaner, put your bio on here. kuckie |

Occupation: High School Science
Teacher Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 3 From Shelly: Hi everyone! I have been getting a lot of grief from people I have been seeing around for still being "MIA". I thought I had better remedey the situation. Time has been moving so quickly, it is hard to believe that our 20th is here. As for me, I married Gary Lindstrom, whom I started dating when we were seniors. We just celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary. I am blessed that Renee hooked us up on a blind date all those years ago. We have since had 3 children ages 11, 13 and 15. I earned my masters of science in science education and teach at the Grand Rapids High School. My niche is human anatomy and physiology. I just love it! I must admit it is a little strange teaching along side my former teachers --but I wouldn't dream of doing anything else for a career! |

Occupation: Paralegal in 1
month/former kindergarten teacher for 10 years No. of Children: 10 From Kim: Over the past twenty years, I can say that I've done many things that I've always wanted to do and others that I hadn't even expected...cycling, whitewater rafting, traveling all over and living in CA for 10 years, (lived in Pismo Beach/Oceano, San Bernadino/L.A., Fresno, the Mojave desert) going back to school for myself way too many times, and going through a few of the newer Volkswagon beetles...and I still drive one to this day!:) Alright, that's 20 years in a nutshell...... The car thing, I think, must be a German or California influence or maybe it's the Krueger family legacy:) Only some of you might know about this back in high school, my apologies if you don't... After high school, I lived in Denmark and backpacked around Europe the summer the "Wall" came down...after that it was student teaching in New Zealand and then I've travelled to several places in the states and overseas ever since. I'm back in the Maple Grove area going to paralegal school in Minnetonka. Teaching out in CA was, overall, good..I also went to graduate school out there, but needed a change. The past couple of summers I still make it up to our cabin outside of Deer River, which is right next door to the Bylkas's. I love it up there. I kept my married name because asking me about football and Vince, Italian over German, is much more entertaining than the Freddy Krueger joke from the 1980's. Making the move back here has taken a few years to accept that it's really going to snow:)..quite a change. I may stay here or I'm open to leaving again. It's been fun reading all of these profiles and look forward to seeing you all at the reunion, which I'm going to try to make this time. Oh, and I'm going bring all 10 children with me to the reunion too.. |

Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 3 From Lisa: I can't believe it has been 20 years. My kids asked me the other day what the price of gas was when I was in high school, and I said 89 cents a gallon and I'm not that old yet. Apparently, I actually am. Anyway, after 16 years of livivng away from GR, we are back here to raise our family. I married Chris Marinucci and we have 3 beautiful girls(10, 8, & 5) that as you all know keep us very busy. They are in gymnastics, hockey, softball, figure skating, and dance. It is full time fun for us. We love being back here close to family after being away for so long and love seeing all of you who slowly keep moving back here. It will be great to see everyone in August. Go INDIANS!!! |

Occupation: Billing/AR Specialist
Marital Status: Divorced No. of Children: 2 From Renee: Hi, everyone! I can't believe it has been 20 years. I live in Deer River and work at Wheelchairs Plus in Grand Rapids as an AR/Billing Specialist. I was a stay at home mom from 1990 - 2002 and then went to college at ICC where I received my Accounting Degree in 2004, which was also the year I got divorced after being with Joe McCarroll(high school sweetheart) for 18 years. I have two wonderful boys, Matt - 18 and Dylan-16 who are the center of my world. Matt is a straight 4.0 student and has been doing the PSEO program, so he will graduate with his High School Diploma and his AA degree. He has already been accepted into the Engineering Program at UMD. Dylan is more into fishing, hunting, and anything with a motor. He is also a very good student (B honor roll). As you can tell, I am very proud of them.I can't wait to see everyone again. |

Occupation: Food Bank Program
Coordinator Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Sandy: I have been happily married to many years to the man of my dreams. We have two wonderful sons, Jason 16 and Janoah 3. After graduating from HS, I continued working in the banking industry until about 5 years ago. I even managed a small branch of a credit union for awhile. Since 2003 I have been working for a Food Bank, feeding hungry people! A very rewarding career that I enjoy! I am still crazy about my dogs...still have 3 of my shelties! I got my first sheltie when I was 13, and still have 3 of his pups. The most important thing in my life is my family and my ministry. My family and I are very active in the ministry, which is also a very rewarding thing! I visit Grand Rapids quite often. At least monthly, to visit my parents, who still live in the home I grew up in. My husband and I hope to be able to build a home there someday soon! I am ashamed to say, that I have barely spoken to anyone from our graduating class since we graduated! Looking forward to seeing everyone! |

Occupation: Staffing Consultant
Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 3 From Shannon: Hey everyone! 20 years. Seems like yesterday we were at the pep fest, or sitting in the commons, or on that bridge with our faces painted. Been fun reading up on everyone. I, like a few of us, did things kinda backwards. After graduating, I went to St. Scholastica but did not earn a degree. My heart was still back in good old GR. In 1991, I married Jason. (GR class of '86) 17 years, 3 kids, 2 dogs and several jobs later, we are still happily married. We live and work in Grand Rapids. I work as a staffing consultant at a local agency and for fun I do some photography on the side. Check out www.grhshockey.com and you'll see what I mean. We have three busy kids: Our oldest son AJ - 16, Our daughter Aly - 14, and Andrew - 7. I am the classic "sport" mom, which I love. All 3 are in hockey (Highschool, 12U, & Mites) and then there's football, baseball, softball, tennis, etc. Well, you know. I might complain, but we sure enjoy it. The hockey especially. We have met people we never would have met and gone places we never would have gone. Lake Placid, NY & Philadelphia, PA to name a couple. OK, I got off topic a bit, but this is about what we've been doing over the last 20 years right? We still love GR and love being able to raise our kids here. Missed seeing you all at the reunion, but duty called. Go Indians! |
